Finger paint and print the Map of Nigeria with the flag pattern

Celebrating your country is one of the best things ever you can do as a citizen, whether young or old.

It is time to celebrate Nigeria and this is a very interesting but simple craft activities for our preschoolers and nursery cuties.

MATERIALS

Map of Nigeria with flag pattern print out

DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE

Green paint

Yellow paint

White paint

Pallete

A cup of water

Tissue

STEP 1:

Print out the Map design outline

STEP 2:

Start with the index finger.

When painting and printing, you start with the light colors first. So, we are going to start with color white.

Wet the index finger, pick your white paint and paint. While painting, make sure to paint within the space mapped out for color white which is at the center.

When done, clean your finger by dipping your finger in the water and wiping on the tissue.

STEP 3:

Now it's time for the green paint.

We will be using the thumb and printing not painting.

Use your thumb to pick color green and start printing. You do this by tapping your paper with your thumb unlike painting where you rub the paper with your finger.

We do this right and left of the center painted color white.

When done, we have our green white green.

STEP 4:

We are done with the map. Your design is fully finished when you color your background which is the space around your design. So, lets design our background.

We will use the pinky finger this time.

Use your pinky finger to pick the color yellow. The color yellow is used to contrast the dull colors and to also show that the sky is bright.

Let's start pinky finger printing, making like dots.

Now, we can paste on our wall or on the bulletin board.
